If your school does not have an existing model release policy, please be aware that students and/or parents must sign a release agreeing to be photographed, before the images are taken. Download a copy of our model release formINFORMATION FOR YOUR STUDENT MODELS:
Please keep the following information in mind when selecting individuals for shots where it will be necessary to schedule students to be available at a certain time and place.
- Indicate that a neat and casual appearance is expected.
- If uniforms are not used at your school, solid colored clothing with no busy patterns or logos is best.
- Where possible, select a mix of gender and ethnicity to represent your school.
- Tell students to bring book bags, notebooks, laptops or any other applicable prop item such as sports equipment & related uniforms, instruments or art portfolios.
- Often it is helpful to have a student pave the way by getting a group of friends together to be in the shot.
- Keep in mind—extroverts make the best models!
